FSS share of payment-processing fees
FSS earns $0 from each tenant payment.
Seven buyer questions
Compare the written default, not the best-case sales configuration. See what every customer receives, what requires another product or negotiated term, and what each provider commits to publicly.
Standard commercial and product commitments for every supported facility.
Cancel effective at the end of the current paid period.
Payments run through your supported Square or Helcim account. Processor fees still apply, but FSS adds no percentage, transaction markup, or revenue share.
Your facility remains the primary brand across the hosted renter experience.
No separate FSS website product, branding package, premium tier, or negotiated add-on is required.
Payment economics
Payment-linked revenue can become a major business line in vertical software. FSS charges for the platform, not the payment volume or move-in volume it supports.
Share of reported company revenue
Public vertical-software examples, not self-storage competitors. Percentages show gross reported revenue categories, not profit. Companies classify revenue differently.
5,037 USD millions in financial technology solutions ÷ 6,153 USD millions total revenue × 100 = 81.86%.
The category consists primarily of transaction-based payment fees and also includes Toast Capital revenue.

815.091 USD millions in transaction-based revenue ÷ 1,227.046 USD millions total revenue × 100 = 66.43%.
The category is driven substantially by payments adoption and also includes merchant-cash-advance revenue.

A successful rental does not create an additional FSS software charge.
Our revenue comes from the software subscription, not your payment volume or move-in volume.

No markup, revenue share, or payment-volume compensation.
Standard Square or Helcim processor fees still apply under the operator’s own processor agreement.
When your tenants pay more, FSS does not earn more.
Public sources reviewed How claims are sourced
Separate processor fees, platform markup, settlement ownership, required payment products, and publicly disclosed economics.
Payments run through your supported Square or Helcim account. Processor fees still apply, but FSS adds no percentage, transaction markup, or revenue share.
The reviewed public sources do not state the complete processor rate, platform markup, revenue share, or settlement structure. Sitelink’s Terms describe Payments as optional through Stripe or Payrix, and an official page documents a Canadian Merchant Services configuration. Request the complete payment economics and applicable Order Form in writing.
Official Sitelink material documents Sitelink Merchant Services in Canada. The reviewed sources do not establish the current Canadian availability of the complete Sitelink configuration, including tax, currency, and insurance options.
Separate the monthly subscription from fees tied to successful reservations.
FSS does not charge a reservation fee, move-in fee, or success fee when a tenant rents a unit. The software subscription does not increase merely because the facility completes more rentals. Standard processor fees remain separate when a payment is processed.
The reviewed product and Terms sources do not state whether the software subscription adds a fee for each confirmed reservation or move-in. Confirm the complete fee schedule in writing.
Distinguish a written facility-branding commitment from a separately purchased website, marketplace path, or configuration-dependent renter experience.
The hosted rental page, tenant account, FSS-sent emails, invoices, and receipts use the facility’s identity as the primary customer-facing brand. Facility branding is included in the supported subscription and does not require a separate FSS website product, branding package, premium tier, or negotiated add-on.
Sitelink is the management platform. Storable documents branded websites, online rentals, and tenant services through the separate Storable Websites product, while Sitelink also supports third-party integrations. Confirm which customer-facing surfaces are included in the quoted package.
Separate standard operating scope from add-ons, third-party integrations, separate provider products, and implementation-specific configuration.
FSS includes facility administration, online rentals and payments, tenant self-service, digital agreements, Gate Code Management, pricing controls, billing, branded communication, and reporting within the supported platform scope.
Sitelink publicly documents configurable workflows, reporting, rentals and payments, move-ins and move-outs, unit transfers, electronic leases, audits, dashboards, one-site and multi-site operation, and third-party integrations. The final scope depends on the selected Storable products, integrations, and Order Form.
Confirm the published price, cancellation timing, guarantee, add-ons, and which terms remain negotiable or Order Form-dependent.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Annual prepayments are not prorated. FSS also publishes its Founders Rate, ongoing rate, $0 transaction markup, and 60-day subscription guarantee.
Sitelink’s public product FAQ says it is billed monthly, requires a monthly commitment, and may be cancelled at any time. Its Terms of Service say the applicable Order Form sets the actual subscription term; if no different term is stated, the service renews month-to-month. Unless otherwise agreed, termination for convenience requires 15 days’ written notice. A public rate schedule or subscription guarantee was not found in the reviewed sources.
Confirm who performs the migration, what launch work is included, what the facility must provide, and how records can be retrieved if the service ends.
FSS migrates the agreed available records needed to operate the facility in FSS, then configures the facility, reconciles the imported data, trains the operator, verifies renter and staff paths, and coordinates launch. The facility provides usable source exports and helps resolve missing or inconsistent source records.
Facility records, reports, and supported exports remain available during service. FSS has not yet published a post-cancellation retrieval window or deletion schedule.
Sitelink says a dedicated team helps transfer existing business information; its Terms include basic support and standard training with a paid subscription, while migration, configuration, implementation, and other supplemental services may be separately ordered.
The Terms say the customer retains ownership of its data. They also say that after expiration or termination, affected services may be deactivated immediately and Sitelink has no obligation to continue storing the data or allow retrieval. Confirm the export process and timing before giving notice.
Confirm whether live availability and online move-ins are part of the management subscription or require a separate website, marketplace, or integration.
Full Stack Storage includes a hosted, facility-branded rental experience. A separate website project is not required to show availability and accept online rentals.
Sitelink provides the management platform. Storable documents websites, online reservations, move-ins, payments, and the tenant portal through the separate Storable Websites product, while Sitelink also supports third-party integrations. Confirm which renter-facing path is included in the quoted package.
Fit check
Full Stack Storage’s written commitments are sourced from maintained public commercial terms, public launch commitments, and product-scope documentation. We compare the standard published offer and written commercial commitments. Optional products and configurable capabilities are identified separately rather than treated as included by default. Product-specific Terms are shown alongside marketing claims; the customer Order Form controls where those Terms say it does. Monthly subscription fees, reservation-linked fees, payment-processing economics, and optional service fees are evaluated as separate claims.
“Not stated” means the reviewed public source did not provide the information. It does not mean the capability or term is unavailable. Products, programs, configurations, and negotiated terms can change; confirm them directly with the provider.
Storable offers multiple management platforms. This comparison treats Sitelink by Storable and Storable Edge as separate products and does not use either one as a proxy for the full Storable suite.
